Internal Audit Manager

Role:

Reports directly to the Board of Directors and is primarily responsible for Internal Audit and Risk Management. It includes internal control, compliance as well as related outsourced activities assisted by the group audit division.

Responsibilities:

• Identify areas of risk and internal controls needed to mitigate risk covering key operational, commercial, financial or compliance risks and controls.
• Development, implementation and leadership of an internal audit program
• Report process improvement opportunities to Audit Committee.
• Provide training, guidance and assistance to various departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, internal controls, IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the creation and annually update of internal control narratives and
test plans
• Manage internal audit department and develop internal audit staff.
• Review activities to identify process improvement and automation opportunities, cost savings, revenue enhancement, and related recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in other strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management or Finance
CPA, CIA or other international qualifications preferred
• Excellent knowledge of risk-based auditing
• Over 5 years internal or external audit experience, including 2 years audit management
• Project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects
• Excellent training, presentation and communication skills
• Excellent English
• Resilient, self-motivated and accomplished at forming relationships and influencing people at all levels in the company
