Project Manager – Youth Career Empowerment

To support the successful implementation of a new project developed by our team, we are currently seeking a Project Manager experienced in youth related projects.

Role:

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize youth career development projects. The Project Manager will manage relationships with stakeholders, team members, and contract personnel.
He/She will establish project timelines and budgets that allow for the delivery of the most effective and strategic functionality within the project constraints. The Project Manager will also propose and develop the projects’ plans including timeline, scope, budget and resources and oversee quality control throughout projects’ life cycle.
This position will also be responsible for building upon current partnerships and seeking new funding and resource opportunities. While this position is expected to be covered on a full-time basis, we will also consider candidates who may be engaged part-time in academia or other youth-related temporary activities.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse set of youth projects from beginning to end
• Estimating funds and resources needed to achieve project goals and finding ways to procure them
• Driving execution of required tasks and activities associated with successful project performance
• Developing project plans, and keeping effective communication with key stakeholders
• Maintaining proper documentation and ensuring project follows usable and well-communicated schedules
• Ensuring that all deliverables are met on-time, on-budget and meet the quality expectations of stakeholders
• Identifying, tracking, managing and mitigating eventual risks
• Ensuring clients and stakeholders have a clear understanding of expectations, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and progress toward achieving milestones
• Regularly looking for opportunities to increase stakeholder satisfaction and improving KPI-s
• Participating in relevant events, conferences and activities for networking and PR purposes
• Keeping an active presence in social media focused on project promotion and network building

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or greater
• At least 2 years direct work experience in youth related projects or junior recruiting
• Experience in projects concerning at least one of the following: career counseling/ talent acquisition/ assessment/ capacity building
• Experience with project management, including promotion campaigns and execution
• Experience in working and managing programs with diverse populations
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to perform well during times of change
• Ability to communicate and work with a diverse set of staff and service providers
• Ability to learn fast and to bring projects to successful completion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Albanian and English
• Adept at conducting online research into youth related issues
• Ability to raise funds to support project implementation and new ideas will be considered a strong asset
