Job Description
Communication and Relation Management Expert
January 2020On behalf of our client, an international organization based in Tirana and operating in Albania, we are currently looking for a Communication and Relation Management Expert (F/M)
The starting date for this position would be within February 2020 or as soon as possible.
Role:
The role consists in the management of the Communication and Public Relations, compliant with the organizations’ goal and methodology. It also consists in providing coaching, advice and support to all team members, representing the organization in different events and producing documents as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Assure visibility of organization work in close cooperation with stakeholders and partners;
• Further develop and follow overall communication strategy of the organization;
• Develop and consolidate a range of communication channels; design, disseminate and collect information in close cooperation with staff members and management;
• Together with the management, foster strong working relationship with ministries, public and private stakeholders by keeping them up-to-date on activities, results and events;
• Keep contacts with media outlets and provide them with respective materials and presentations;
• Represent the organization vis-a-vis the media, partner institutions and other key strategic stakeholders;
• Prepare communication material for various events and activities, such as written short-stories or videos; update the website, social media and newsletter accordingly;
• Inform the organization management team and organization staff on important news related to other initiatives similar and complementary to the organization;
• Provide capacity development in terms of communication, outreach and branding to the team;
• Contribute to knowledge management and capitalization of experiences;
Requirements:
• University degree: BA or MA in communication or public relations;
• 3-5 years of experience in the communication and PR activities (preferably in the private sector);
• Experience in organisational management, including budgeting and administration;
• Ambitious and creative self-starter;
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a larger team;
• Ability to write attractive and comprehensive documents in English and Albanian;
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
