Sales Engineer – Electrical

Our client is a multinational company operating in electrical and digital building infrastructures. They operate successfully in Albania for many years, making possible the transformation of the spaces where people live, work and meet, with sustainable and innovative solutions.

On their behalf we are looking for a Sales Technical Engineer, who will assist in the company’s growing operations.

Role:

The Sales Technical Engineer will combine technical expertise with the necessary commercial skills. She / He will promote the company as a provider of choice for client residential or business projects / installations, as well as in retail channels. She / He will provide technical support during the project and implementation phase.

Will report directly to the Country Manager.

Responsibilities:

Providing active and proactive technical support to clients and collaborators for the whole product range through all stages of a project.

– Designing and developing systems, preparing specifications and quotations according to requests and queries in coordination with other departments.
– Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
– Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
– Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
– Working with official distributors and coordinating them on daily basis (technical support, logistics, preparations for incoming projects, defining guidelines for realization of mutual targets).
– Identifying and evaluating potential revenue and sales growth opportunities
– Conducting necessary demos and proof of concept to present right solutions
– Arranging and conducting technical training for partners/customers

Requirements:

– At least 3 years of hands-on experience with electrical technologies
– Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
– Solid technical knowledge on electrical systems, panels and accessories
– Ability to communicate effectively within business environment
– Ability to build and nurture relationships within channel partners and end-user customers
– A commercial mindset and a learning mindset are a must for this position
– Willingness to travel / Driver’s license category B
– Excellent knowledge of English language
