Doing Business with Germans in the Balkans

Kosovo is becoming an attractive destination, especially from Germans peaking areas, due to traditional business relations. Some of the benefits from investing in Kosovo are: low taxes, rich resources, young, skilled, and entrepreneurial workforce, as well as a supportive business environment. Currently there are over 4200 foreign company operating in the market.

The country offers great opportunities for investment in sectors such as: agriculture, energy, ICT, viticulture, extraction & processing of metals, etc. Besides that, there is an increasing number of Kosovo companies that are selling their products and services to foreign markets, especially in Germany.

Given the high nearshoring interest of its international clients, AIMS international Board Member, Mr. Peter Barkhurst from AIMS Germany visited some Kosovo successful businesses that currently serve the German markets.

Its products are used in big construction/architectural projects in Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Croatia, Kazakhstan, etc

Jaha Solar is the N.1 Brand New Solar Factory in the Balkans. Inaugurated on June 2nd, 2016, with a 200 MW capacity, it presents the latest technology in the production and installation of photovoltaic systems in the regional and international arena.
