Branch Manager – Bank

August 2022

Our client is a reputable International Bank operating in Albania. On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Manager of the Headquarters Branch.

Role

The Branch Manager will control and plan the Branch’s resources to ensure a smooth running of the daily work and achieving the Branch targets. He / She will contribute to the profitable growth of the organization in line with the strategic guidelines, and compliant with set policies, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Supervise the Branch Human Resources on following the pertinent regulations and procedures.
  • Organize daily work accordingly to ensure optimal resources utilization and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze training & development needs and plan / execute relevant activities.
  • Instruct branch staff on relevant manuals, instructions and procedures related to the services and products.
  • Make periodical job performance evaluations and propose the career path for each employee.

Marketing / Public Relations:

  • Manage relationships with existing and potential clients to promote products and increase sales.
  • Establish cooperative relations with local public institutions.
  • Research and collect relevant data to analyze the economic situation, general or specific trends, competition and customer behavior.
  • Design and implement short term plans for the sale of required products.

Operations and Administrative:

  • Follow periodical analyses on achievements and deviations from the approved plan.
  • Examine Audit reports, prepare necessary correction plans, recommend, and report accordingly.
  • Propose budget plan in accordance with organizational objectives.
  • Responsible for analyzing client’s creditworthiness, credibility and integrity.
  • Ensure the completeness, correctness and compliance of business cases.
  • Responsible for the branch’s security in accordance with company regulations and procedures.

Requirement for ideal candidates:

  • Graduated in Economics or related fields
  • At least 3 years of work experience in the banking / financial industry
  • Personal leadership skills
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Good communication, presentation, & coordination skills
  • Advanced knowledge of regulations
