Cost Controller

Our client is a reputable international production company, operating in the automotive industry, with sites in several countries.

On their behalf, we are searching for a Cost Controller to sustain the growing operations of their production facility just outside of Tirana.

Role:

You will report to the Group Controlling Manager, based in the International Headquarters, and to the Albania Country Manager. You will manage the controlling activities of the site.

Responsibilities:

INDUSTRIAL CONTROLLING

– Put in place industrial controlling activities

– Assess the hourly rates for the plant

– Identifying actions and areas for improvement (in cooperation with the Country Manager)

– Performance analysis

REPORTING, PLANNING & FORECAST

– Lead the monthly closing process in coordination with the outsourced accounting firm

– Deliver monthly reports to the HQ (Actual, forecast and other indicators)

– Responsible for the budget process

– Intercompany reconciliation with other related entities

GROUP CONTROLLING

– Active member of the controlling network (best practices, process improvements etc)

– Participate in key controlling projects at group level

– Perform ad-hoc analysis requested by the HQ

Requirements:

– Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting

– At least 2 years of experience in controlling or audit

– Deep accounting knowledge

– Fluency in English

– Expert level in Excel (mandatory) and knowledge of SAP (a plus)

– Strong analytical skills

– Strong communication and reporting skills

– Driver’s license
