Director of Commercial and Property Department

September 2019

On behalf of our client, an international company operating successfully in Albania for many years, we are seeking a Director of the Commercial and Property Department. (CPD)

Role:

The role of the Director of CPD is to manage, lead and coordinate the commercial agreements, department policies, procedures and practices by following accepted international, national and company standards of professional practice. The role performs marketing research with the focus on developing company’s commercial market, and measures and reports on department’s issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, developing and implementing Commercial and Property strategy including management and marketing of the commercial and property revenue generating contracts
• Maintain and develop existing and new projects partners; marketing to all potential customers for attaining their requests
• Responsible for performing market evaluation and research of new tenants for all commercial areas
• Responsible for assuring that clients comply with terms/procedures/policies for all commercial contracts
• Monitor reconciliation with Finance Division of revenues from commercial activities
• Coordination with company maintenance subcontractor for third party facility infrastructure or utility claims
• Support in review and analysis of department’s budget. Control department expenditure within agreed budget within given boundaries
• Liaise with other department’s directors/managers so as to ensure they are fully informed of objectives, purposes and achievements of the Commercial and Property Department.
• Monitor, measure and report on department’s issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales

Requirements:

• University Degree from Economic University
• Knowledge and experience in Retail, Marketing and Advertising
• 2+ years of work experience in related job responsibilities
• Relationship management and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills, in Albanian and English
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
• Ability to organize well and present information effectively
• Ability to multi-task on several projects simultaneously
• Good research skills and ability to suggest creative solutions
• Ability to make effective decisions in line with company goals and objectives
• A reasonable balance of risk-taking and careful behaviorThe Director of CPD will report to the company CEO
