Senior System Administrator

In cooperation with our colleagues of AIMS International Germany, we are looking for an experienced candidate to fill the role of Senior System Administrator for a Cloud Services company operating in Germany.

Role:

As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of cloud-based servers for international clients.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring performance and handling general troubleshooting
• Administering infrastructure, planning and implementing data connectivity and backup
• Supporting clients from all around the globe
• Researching and evaluating new technologies and improvements
• Working in a friendly and dynamic team of expert system administrators
• Coordinating flexible shifts and sharing responsibilities with other team members

Requirements:

• Experience in administration of Linux servers (Debian based),
(Experience in AWS and other Cloud-based solutions is a big plus)
• Knowledge of MySQL, PHP and web servers (ideally NGINX)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Analytical and conceptual thinking; solution-oriented attitude
• Ability to handle responsibilities and meeting deadlines
• Great social skills and capacity for teamwork
