Job Description

Supply Chain Officer

November 2021

Our client is an industrial manufacturing company, part of a big international group, operating successfully in Albania. In order to support their operations, we are seeking on their behalf a Supply Chain Officer. (SC)

Role:

The SC will support the Supply Chain and operational teams in successfully and efficiently coordinating activities of production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and related operations. He / She will report to the Supply Chain Department Manager, located in Italy, and shall cooperate closely with the company Administrative Manager located in Albania.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the supply chain manager, site manager and other team members in all aspects of daily operations.
• Maintain relationships with local suppliers and transporters.
• Ensure the achievement of the daily business results of the supply chain.
• Guarantee the accuracy of all material purchase orders, regular sales orders and transfer warehouse.
• Assist, support, and provide backup coverage for all members of the Supply Chain team.
• Understand and execute all supply chain activities such as inventory, physical inventory counting, inventory accuracy in allocation and consumption, material demand, sales and purchase order entry, etc.
• Assess and manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, customer service, buyers and sales to provide delivery dates and shipping information.
• Maintain and update the ERP and ensure that the level of accuracy is optimal.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry, out of which at least 3 years in operations.
• Previous experience in a matrix organization is highly valued.
• Degree: Preferably in Engineering or Business Management.
• Language: English (imperative) Italian is a plus.
• Experience: Welcome experience in logistic, planning, stock management, supplies.
• Knowledge: Microsoft Office package software, knowledge / use of ERP systems
• Attitude: team building, problem solving, forward thinking, attention to details, orientation to quality and continuous improvement.
