Talent Management – HR Forum Day at AmCham Albania
November 2017As part of HR Open Forum Days, AmCham Albania invited AIMS International, to share its local and international expertise as a leading company in Talent Acquisition and Management.
Mrs. Monika Farka, Managing Partner of AIMS International Albania & Kosovo, and member of the AmCham HR Committee, explained and shared best Talent Management Practices in today’s business environment to an audience of HR representatives.
By applying the right assessment practices it is effective for companies to design adequate development strategies (Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Training, Coaching, etc) and deliver measurable impact on current and future roles.
The objective assessment of people’s talent through world-class scientific and certified tools measures the actual or potential performance of individuals or teams in their assigned roles. High interest was shown by participants on a very effective tool like the 360 Degree Feedback evaluation, which puts the individual talent into the perspective of other team members (managers, peers, reports), and provide HR or Managers a broader understanding of performance and development of their people.
According to last year’s AIMS survey, there is a great need to empower the strategic role of HR in Albanian Companies. Mrs.Farka advised that HR professionals instead of being just simple process managers, should become talent advisors and impact decision making through the right talent strategy that aligns company objectives with people.
With the right Talent Management practices, companies can increase competitiveness by attracting, retaining, motivating and developing the talented people they need.
